The All Saints' Stained Glass Windows Virtual Tour
FOREWARD

Tom
heartily endorsed the idea and readily provided the original book to
allow for the transcription of the descriptive text to web format and
to combine it with scanned images of each window.
Sadly,
Tom passed away a few weeks after work began on this project and did
not live to see its final outcome. It has thus been completed as a
tribute to Tom and his love for All Saints'. With camera in hand, Tom
was ever present at parish events to record the proceedings to be
included in the work he loved so much, the upkeep of the Archives of
All Saints'.
Thank you, Tom, for your contributions to our collective memory and history.

The All Saints' Window Tour - 1994 Original Cover Letter
"At the request of the Church Wardens, the Archives
Committee is doing a series on the history of the
beautiful stained glass windows in the church.
The series will run from today, May 22nd until
September 11th, Whitby's Heritage weekend".
The result of the above request was a weekly series
in the Sunday bulletin of All Saints' Church, Whitby.
The following pages are a transcript of the series.
N.B. While we tried to ensure that the facts we used
were correct, we apologize for any mistakes made, and
trust no one was offended."
